The Jesus Prayer is a form of prayer that can be traced back to the gospels, and supports many of us in our contemplative journey today. This retreat offers daily teaching and opportunities to pray the Jesus Prayer together, as well as offering space for silent meditation and reflection. Aimed at both beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this is an opportunity to learn more about the theology of the Jesus Prayer and the practice of it. The retreat takes place at the Julian Shrine, with prayer and teaching at All Hallows House, and guests have access to the whole of the Shrine to enjoy their retreat, including our private chapel, study library, sitting room and refectory as well as our gardens, visitor centre and St Julian's Church.
